Level the whole roster before you buy another AI offsite.

Owners do not have a content problem. They have a distribution-of-skill problem. Send the test. Get the gap map. Point each person at official free modules, then run a 14-day rollout on real work.

$499

Starter kit, 15 seats, 90 days. Office plan is $199/mo for the company (25 seats; extra $12).

30-minute owner readout

This is the meeting. Do not add slides.

  1. 0–5 min. Show the level histogram. One sentence: we do not have an AI problem, we have a distribution-of-skill problem.
  2. 5–12 min. Safety watch. Anyone under 40 on judgment does not get unsupervised client copy this month.
  3. 12–20 min. First-module clusters. Buy one lab path, not five tools. Read the names out loud so it feels real.
  4. 20–26 min. 14-day rollout: everyone placed by Friday, one artifact each by day 14, 15-minute recap.
  5. 26–30 min. Decide whether you need a vendor workshop at all. If the gap is literacy, you do not. If the gap is a custom workflow in your AMS, that is a different purchase.

14-day rollout

  • Day 1. Everyone takes the 15-question placement. Team code on question one.
  • Day 2. Owner reads the gap map. Print it. Do not forward identifiable scores to the group email.
  • Day 3–5. L0/L1 start OpenAI Foundations. L2+ start Applied Foundations. No side quests.
  • Day 6. 20-minute standup: what broke, which prompt got used, who skipped.
  • Day 7–10. Each person ships one industry artifact from the Desk pack and logs it.
  • Day 11–13. Safety pass on anything client-facing. Owner samples three drafts.
  • Day 14. 15-minute recap. Keep, kill, or rewrite one rule. Book the 90-day re-test.

Starter policy for the handbook

Have an attorney read it. Then send it Friday.

AI use policy — 15-person shop (starter)

1. Allowed tools: the company list only. Personal ChatGPT on a phone is not a second AMS.
2. Never paste: SSNs, medical records, full policy files, wire instructions, passwords, HR folders, unsigned contracts.
3. Drafts are drafts. Anything a client, carrier, or counterparty could rely on is checked by a licensed / responsible human. Names, numbers, and promises are retyped from source.
4. We do not let a model invent coverage, square footage, prices, case studies, or legal conclusions.
5. Client-facing senders are named people, not "the AI."
6. If a tool is free today and paid tomorrow, we do not rebuild the business on it without an owner decision.
7. Questions go to [NAME]. Violations are a process miss first, a people miss second.

This is a starting page, not counsel. Have an attorney read it before it is the handbook.

Run if the charts are empty. Individuals: open the desk. Billing: membership.
